Extact System Image Files in 7 Easy Steps using Ext2Explore
Requirements
- A Windows computer with XP/Vista/7/8/10
- Download the following tools:
- A system.img file from an Android firmware.
- A ZIP archiver utility installed on your computer.
Process
1) Run ext2explore.exe as administrator (important!).
2) Next, click on the File tab and select Open Image option.
3) Navigate to the .img file you want to extract.
4) Now highlight the .img file and select Save option.
5) Select a folder/directory where you want to save the extracted system dump files and click OK.
6) Wait till the system dump files are extracted to your desired folder.
7) Now open the folder where files have been extracted. You’ll have your system dump files there.
Done! You now have your system dump!
