{GUIDE} Porting any Recovery to you MTK Device

Note this guide will work for porting any MT6XXX Recovery to ant MT6XXX Recovery.


Tools Required: 

• Carliv Image Kitchen ( To extract Recovery ) : Direct Link
• Port Recovey ( Which you want to port )
• Stock Recovery ( One made or ported to your Device )

Process:

1) Use Carliv Image Kitchen and Extract Stock Recovery and Port Recovery.

2) Now open Both the folders where Stock and Port Recoveries are Extracted.


3) Open folder where port recovery is extracted and replace "recovery.img-kernel" from stock to port.




2) Replace all "Init" "Fstab" and "Uvented" Files from Stock to Port ( from ramdisk folder )



3) Open Recovery/ramdisk/etc/recovery.fstab and replace it from stock to port.




Repack Recovery - The recovery will be repacked to "output" folder. Flash the New Recovery Image Obtained. Enjoy :)
